Money. By drving customers to Fancy Fiber Farm you are helping us reduce our advertising costs significantly and we can in excahnge pass along those savings to you in the form of a cash payout.
How does the program work?
You put links to our site or specific products on our site. People visit your site and find products they are interested in purchasing. These people are then directed to Fancy Fiber Farm\'s site to complete the purchase process. We handle the customer support, shipping and billing. Any purchase they make on our site for up to a year after that will also be credited to your account, even if they haven\'t been back to your site. Every month that you have more than $10 in your account, we will send you a check or a Paypal payment. If you haven\'t reached the $10 mark, we will roll your account over until you do reach that amount.
Does it cost to become an affiliate?
Of course not! We have heard of affiliate programs that do charge to be members, but that feels like a scam to us. The way we see it, if you are providing a service to us, the least we can do is pay you back for that service. You can be a member as long as you like and can cancel at any time. We do reserve the right to refuse or cancel membership for violations of our terms of service.
I am an affiliate of another site. Can I be an affiliate of Fancy Fiber Farm?
Yes! We encourage you to drive the most traffic you can to your site by participating in other programs. If you are successful, we are confident that we will all be successful. Again, we reserve the right to refuse membership for violations of our terms of service.
Are there elligibilty requirements to become an affiliate?
That depends on the site. You site must not contain any objectional material, including, but not limited to, pornography, explicit language or content, hate, or discriminitory content. If you feel your site would benefit from becoming an affiliate of an alpaca based inventory, we would love to hear from you and open our doors to your site.
I run my own online store. Can I be an affiliate on your site as well?
Yes. We know that not every site can offer every product that the market place will demand. If our site has something your site does not offer, feel free to place become an affiliate. Even if you have products that compete with ours. We are more about promoting the alpaca industry than competing with other farm stores.
I don\'t have time to run an online store. Can I still become an affiliate?
Certainly! Just create a link directly to our site using the various tools you will be provided when you join as an affiliate. .
Can I use the Fancy Fiber Farm logos and name on my website?
We encourage you to promote the brand on your website. We do however require that you do not modify any of our logos in any way. Our marketing materials will be updated regularly with the latest promotional materails for your use.
Your product descriptions don\'t fit my site. Can you re-write them?
You are free to describe the products in your own voice and what works best for your site, however the descriptions must remain accuate to the product being sold. You can format your description to however they will best fit your site, like in a blog, email campaign, articles or other manner. We reserve the right to review and refuse any material we find objectional. Our judgement is final on the determination of material is objectional or not. We are not going to re-write the descriptions of the products on our site to fit your site needs.
I have never set up an affiliate account before. Can you help?
Possibly. While we will do everything we can to ensure your success, there are many various ways of configuring a web-site and we can not be expected to be able to help in every situation. We will provide as much technical knowledge as we can to assist you in getting going. We may also be able to direct you to resources on the Internet to help you along. We will provide assistance with our website and the links we provide from there. We want you to succeed, so we will do our best to help you out.
What are Fancy Fiber Farm\'s responsibilities?
We are responsible for providing a quality product for you to promote. We will provide payments in a timely manner. We provide shipping, customer support, billing, returns, and statistics on sales. We will provide you the tools you need to become a successful affiliate in our program.
How are orders tracked and credited?
To ensure proper credit for purchases generated by your site, they must include your unique affiliate ID. Our system will automatically monitor and credit these purchases.
How much will I get paid?
That depends on how many sales are generated from your links to Fancy Fiber Farm. We offer several differnt options for our affiliate program to encourage you to generate the most leads, and in turn the best return back to you.
When do I get my first payment?
When your account has earned more than $10, we will submit a Paypal payment (preferred) or grant you store credit, if requested by you. Normal payouts are scheduled for the last business day of the month, but sometimes technical difficulties or scheduling conflicts can delay this payment. If you account hasn\'t reached the low earning point of $10, it will continue to roll over until is has reached that point. Fancy Fiber Farm may pay out lower amounts at our sole discrection, or upon your request.
Can I monitor my sales progress?
Once your account is approved as an affiliate you will have access to our affiliate pages where you will be provided with all the informaiton we can provide. If there is something that you need that isn\'t provided there, please contact us and let us know how we can help you.
What if I don\'t generate sales?
We don\'t have any minimum sales amounts or quotas that you must meet to be a member of our affiliate program. Of course you won\'t be making any money from the program either, so it is in your best interest to generate those sales leads.
