Bandero is a super cute, extremely adorable, friendly & easy to handle young brown male. He is 3 years old and small, thin build, currently working on weight gain! He is loose in his hips but doesn’t seem to stop him from keeping up with the 4H kids in all their activities! He is halter, lead and handler trained. This will be his first year in 4H, but he has won many ribbons in area alpaca shows. He is sure to produce an award winning fleece for the 2012 year! We are excited to see what the future holds!

Blue Beard is one of our special edition boys. He has a genuine loving personality, enjoys human contact and attention and to eat treats from anyone who will offer. Blue Beards lineage and history are unknown as we adopted him from a large farm that did not keep record or track their geldings. Blue Beard got his name from his unique blue marble colored eyes. Considered a genetic fault in breeding but as a gelding radiates beauty and engages interest and attention from all who see him. He is very curious and trusting he bonds quickly and learns even quicker. Trained in halter, fit & show, trail obstacles, public relation obstacles and handler classes Blue Beard has taken many blue ribbons, grand and reserve grand champion placing. Blue Beard is one of the most photographed animals on our farm, his pictures being in many newspapers and articles including the front page of The Columbian and in the Oregonian. If all this isn’t enough to make him special, Blue Beard was also a certified therapy animal. Certified and insured through Dove Lewis’s therapy program trained to go into schools, hospitals, libraries, retirement homes and much much more. Blue Beard is an amazing public relation animal and does wonders for publicity for our farm.

Caruso is an almost 2 year old, wonderful white male, with a good temperament. Halter and Lead trained and handles nicely! He is full Peruvian and that definitely shows that in the character and structure of his fleece! He would make a good 4H Project animal or Fiber Friend!

Talk about a PR animal! Casper’s a complete package! He’s got the “looks!” “Pedigree!” “Personality!” “Talent!”

Grandson to the renowned Hemingway, son of Haldane, Casper carries the best linage of our geldings. Champion himself, winning multiple blue ribbons Casper has extremely fine fiber, full of long crimpy locks, bright white color and coverage to the grass. He has amazing presence, great personality, is outgoing and trusting. He is trained in halter, fit & show, trail obstacles, public relations obstacles, high jump, limbo, multiple types of racing, wears costumes, and is target trained to kiss on command. He even enjoys playing soccer with the kids. He travels well and attends many community events, walks in many parades each year including Portland’s Grand Floral Parade. Casper is trained to drink for a water bottle when hiking or in parades, he also LOVES Gatorade! He is very well rounded and an amazing animal.
